Joel C. Ang, MD, FAAFP, AAHIVS was born in Manila, Philippines and grew up in Raleigh, NC. His pre-med degree was from Duke University, as a B.N. Duke scholar, graduating cum laude in Chemistry and Art History. He received his medical degree from the UNC at Chapel Hill, where he was an Idol and Morehead scholarship recipient. Dr Ang completed his medical internship training in Family Medicine at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA, and his residency at the St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in South Bend, IN where he served as a Chief Resident.
